Like many swimwear companies, Lumahai swimwear was created out of inspiration and love for the ocean. Designers, Natasha and Sofia Garreton, have always been fond of nature, fashion and photography. Each year, their family took a trip to Kauai. After several times of visiting, the Garreton girls made memories, friends and a lasting connection to Kauai and it’s breathtaking scenery. They decided to take their passions and inspirations to launch their swimwear line. To give back, they named their swimwear line Lumahai in honor of their favorite beach on the island. Since it’s launch in 2013, Lumahai has seen tremendous success. Before a launch of a collection and any advertising, they already have pre orders and girls asking to promote their line. They believe this comes from their great quality and careful design. Both girls spend hours making sure the fit is correct and hugs the body the way it should.
Just like Mother Nature, Lumahai swimwear keeps it simple. They use solid neutral colors and tones as a color base for their bikinis. The Lumahai 2016 collection incorporated edgier designs into their swimline. The bottoms have mesh panels on the side and very cheeky. The top seller in this collection is the Lihue Top.
