The designers and founders of AB are Catalina Álvarez & Mariana Hinestroza. Both are Colombian natives, with a true gift in fashion design. They noticed the need for unique and different swimwear, and decided to partner up and create Agua Bendita. Before they knew it, AB took off and is now a swimwear staple all over the world.

What makes Agua Bendita so special? All items from the collections are handmade. AB employs over 700 Colombian artisans to create each masterpiece. The movement is called, 700 Hearts, in which all employees are women, often single-mothers, who otherwise would have no means of an income. Whether it’s the crochet details, beading or lycra (the prints are hand painted) everything is truly designed from the heart. Each swimsuit features the name of the artisan that created your piece, making it even more special.
